You can try to use color correct node for bump texture

it depends on lights around. And it doesn't take into account environment light.

That is quite hard to do. What settings do you want to place to presets?

just tested it! works like a charm! another few layers less to render extra, if you could put "Visible to camera" option and option to adjust wihich objects has visible or invisible alpha... that would be a hell of a job!

What exactly do you mean the color correct node? You mean the gama? My bumps are black on white. Bump strength is still very dull.

I would think environment lights would be the most important for the shadow catcher to catch. Perhaps it would be easier to create a option in Octane lights, that just creates shadows, but doesn't emit any light onto the objects them self??
For instance, I pull my object into an environment with an HDRI. The lighting from the HDRI onto the object is good, but if I add Octane lights to create shadows on the shadow catcher, the object it self would become to bright or drowned out by brightness.
I know all of you are going to say render two images. merge them together. blah blah.
But perhaps an octane light that cast object shadows, with no brightness is a simpler solution in octane. Just a thought.

I think actually just having a setting to save the Octane camera's "Imager" settings would be sufficient.
It would be nice to bounce back and forth between the Imager settings instantly from previous saved settings.
Right now, I take screen shots of my settings. Changing each setting one by one. Than have to go back again.

Either way, like I mentioned before, your doing a great job. I appreciate the open ear.

color correct and image texture itself has intensity/power settings to set power more then 1.0.

GTX690 you mean?

it has 2 cores. so you memory should be divided by this 2 cores. every core has only 2Gb.

3dsmax takes 100-500Mb (depends on viewport settings and 3dsmax version)

So Octane has only the rest - 1.5Gb

hi karba, apoligies for card model, sorry, is gtx690, finger error, so, this graphic card only have 2 gb then ? and the cudas have 1536 per card ? becouse the graphic card box say 3072 cudas, 4 gb total memory, 2 gb per card.
in the octane this card don't use toguether this 4 gb, really is an card with 2 gb each other, right ? and each card have 1536 cuda cores ? or each card have 3072 ?
about the material fake i don't see this option in standalone and the fog too or dosent' integrated in the version 1.10 ?
thank you karba

Hi Karba,

Same thing is happening again. I can open scene in octane viewport, but when I render for real the process never gets past 'processing geometry'.
