A little update. With a GTX780 and a GTX580 we're getting 10.01 score in PT
GTX780 is slightly overclocked. When I tried to overclock the GTX580 it somehow dropped in the score to 0.65? Gonna try some tomorrow.

this PSU setup is obviously pretty ghetto and just a quick test. Although i works nicely and seems to be very stable.

Anyone getting a GTX 770? I would like to see how it performs in octane.

770 is rumored to be rebranded 680, with some improvents, so performance shouldn't differ so much =)

yeah, and even if 780 brings better performane, value wise 770 might be just a better deal 'cause of 4gb vRAM (compared to gb lower on 780). if card will remains at the same price as 670 that would be a nice improvement, considering it's cooler has better performance & that means the card is going to run cooler & more silent - migh fit the needs of budget build /I'm very happy with 670 - for the money it was a good deal!

cheers

40.17 path tracing

3 TITANs in the standard computer case and 3 TITANs in the Netstor expansion box. They are connected with the 1.5 m long cable. Card spacing in the Netstor box is larger which is good for air cooling. I still have one empty slot in the Netstor box.

Boris,

how did you connect the expansion box? Is it possible to use such solution to connect two motherboards(two separate computers)? Is any special card (eg. pci x16)required? Please pass some more info.
