this version is crashing my modo with scenes made with old plugin.

I have refreshed the installers at the top of this thread with:
2.24.0.83
- Fixed crash introduced in 2.24.0.82 related to support of Selection Sets

I have refreshed the installers at the top of this thread with:
2.24.0.84
- Fixed issue where if Film Fit = Fill, the plugin was not calculating the Octane Camera Offset correctly

A general question for the Octane daylight system:
Am I wrong by saying that I think it's too bright with the default settings?
This a scene with a 0.8 diffuse color, very rough glossy material with almost no specular.
Camera has default values.
The parts in sunlight are completely blown out.
Yes, you can adjust everything (exposure, darker materials, highlight compression...) but I think the daylight system should be a little bit more balanced (light/shadows).

It does look bright in your scene. If you type "octane.command showNodeGraph" (this is an undocumented, unsupported feature - don't change any values!) you can look at what the "real" Octane values being used for the daylight is - so that should give you a better idea if something is amiss. Also, check your imager exposure.
