That is CAMERA motion blur - which is different from object motion blur. If the camera is not moving, you won't get any blur. Object motion blur is in the pipeline.

You won't have issues since the images specified in the files you have. I think before it just never reported it as an error whereas now it's being more telling about issues. Although IMO if you are retaining existing maps (as you should be), it shouldn't tell you that you're missing maps it's not going to use. Maybe jot it down as a bug in the plugin?
