Following is a link to an experimental release of the plugin. It allows multiple selection of Material nodes. This was a complex change, so may potentially not be as robust as normal TEST releases.

2.23.2.49
- Compiled with Octane 2.23.2
- Added support for HDR Light Studio v5
- Added Multiple Selection support (using shift click, or right click) to the Material tab tree. This allows you to paste a previously copied material to multiple selected materials. This only works if you have only selected Material nodes.
- Added multiple material selection option to convert all selected materials to diffuse
- Added additional debug info to octaneplugin.log

http://render.otoy.com/customerdownload ... _Win64.exe
And I suppose that flashing updating material tree with every change is still out of the question.
Are you running a second graphics card, or your onboard graphics as the Windows display adapter? This partially resolves the issue. The redrawing of the Material tree is controlled by the python UI, so there is not a lot of can do about it.

Oh that is just brilliant Paul... changing all materials to diffuse in one hit... I wuvs this.
And... Light Studio 5 works a treat as well.

Flashing tree... one card only used for everything unfortunately... that could very well be the problem.
Nice update so far... thrashing it as I type!

Hi Paul - I have both HDR Light Studio versions 4 and 5. Would it be possible to have the plugin ask which version to launch when you select "Open HDR Light Studio"? I'm finding that there are many times when I'd much rather use version 4, especially for simple setups.

Edited to add: Also, I can confirm that 2.23.1.50 fixes the issue with HDR Light Studio causing errors when using out of core memory. Works fine now. Thanks for that! :D

This is not a trivial change, because the HDR Light Studio loader process done in the Octane DLL, and not the PoserPython code of the plugin. So this change would require re-jigging quite a lot of code.

Okay, I understand. Thanks for the quick reply. By the way, I noticed that version 2.23.2.50 reports itself as 2.23.1.50 under the Account tab in the plugin. Not a big deal, but just mentioning it in case you hadn't seen that.
