Hello I'm Dennis R. ('PeterLux') and this is my entry to the competition
The idea is an apocalypse throught the replacement of the human being with a machine. I thought of the humans abnormal ambition to develop this kind of creature and the damage of self-worth, that results from seeing what these things are able to.
So one can think about a kind of apocalypse by the selfdistruction of a depressive species...

Hi

my name is Andy and it's my first post on this forum

I was planning to make War (one of the horsemen of Apocalypse) from some time, and this competition motivated me to do so - he is inspired form A. Durer woodcut.
All models are mine(textures are handpainted and mixed from: mayang.com and imageafter.com)
Modeling: Blender 2.61
Rendering: Octan Demo 2.46b
Postpro: Gimp (color correction, added noise and blue tint) and blender (chromatic aberration)
also I added some black bars (and noise on edges) to make my image 720p.
unfortunately I don't have many more screen grabs because the demo crashed
****************
awesome work Kazube

I like the horse sculpt very much.

Here is my entry for the contest. I used blender and octane. As you can see there really isn't any special textures in this. I used Photoshop to downsize the image and add a sig. Btw great work all!
