Hi, Aoktar
So far R5 feels really good.
One question: why did the alpha background on live view change?
I feel the versions before were more pleasing for working. The black alpha just feels to me less intuitive.

Check if you have turned on A/B comparison mode - it cause black alpha.

Can you turn off automatic 2x2 subsampling switching ? Every time if there is even 2 second lag because of hdr texture loading or something else that need some precomputation in scene Octane automatically switching to subsampling rendering mode and stay in it. This can be annoying.

I know about the A/B comparison. But NO... no comparison mode activated.
Looks like something changed. Never had alpha channel as black with no transparency. Looks awful.

Yes! Thank you!
Didn't remember there was this option. It was off out of the box, never had it that way so I assumed it was an engine thing.
Thanks again!

Please see attached video what I mean about this automatic sub-sampling feature. Please remove this if it can't switch back to previous state automatically.

Not related to your problem, but would you mind sharing this ENV Setup? Looks pretty handy. :)

It is a part of my bigger rig with camera autoexposure feature. I will prepare default scene with it to make easy implementation soon.

feedback:

objecttag to null object, subdivision level modified, live viewer not update

must click "send your scene and restart new render"

version: 2022.1-[R5]
