Hi guys-
I was lucky enough (and maybe dumb enough) to score 4 of these Titan monsters. (Actually ordered them from the back seat of a cab in Mexico last week. How weird is that)?

It's pretty insane. I was hoping for about 23 or so in the benchmark but this set up just blew right past that at nearly 33! Unbelievable. That's more than twice as fast as four 680's. With that I was getting 13's in PT. I haven't even OC these yet. Don't know if I need to.

Crazy speed! See attached. Damn near real time rendering now.

I am curious how hot cards get close together like that. Have you monitored temps at all?
I've been putting off making a decision about which cards I will get because I am worried about overheating.
Can the fans suck in enough air from between the cases when they are close together like that?

Well these cards are actually designed to work like this. They cool themselves front to back. You just need to make sure the case has good air flow.

This new line of cards are also equipped with a new way to control heat. You set the temperature and the card adjusts. It's very sweet.

Wow, 33 with no over clocking, that is pretty sweet. I am fine with my water cooled rig at the moment, but for the futer a quad Titan Rig is a nice thing especially when the integrated plugins improve and Octane is more useful for animation and supports motion blur and other stuff
I am curious how an overclocked quad Rig will score.

Remember Titan use Boost 2.0 So it will get lower when it gets hotter. So it sounds right that 4 titans will start at 33Ms/s and drop to about 25Ms/s when it gets hot and hit the temp threshold. That's what I get when reading these tests anyway from a stock Titan.

Soon i want to do some longrun test with 4xgtx690 *very happy with it*
And specialy the longrun temps and speeds from all 3 kernels.
I hope i find the time to bench them soon and poste the results.

So that means that watercooling a Titan makes sense. I should replace my 580 with a wc Titan in the future as a start.
