It looks to available channels of tfd and also render smoke/fire shader settings.

In Medium tab, we should set which channel goes to Octane's output. I suppose we should have filled abs/scatter channel.

If you want to see emission effects, need to have a texture emission in Medium Volume, also rgb/float/etc.. textures in Scatter/Absorption slots.
Thanks a ton for this! Got it working. TFD and Octane work so well together, so far no crashes either.

There was some crash due TFD api, build 1401. It seems that has been fixed on maintance build 1403.

Ok got it here also. I'm not exactly sure but seems like a problem on netrender information functions. Can you try with disabled render info on Live Viewer+netrender?

Here's some little difference between 3 alpha 1 and 3 alpha 6. It is a little bit slower than 3a1, but the image looks slightly different...
Just for understand, not a problem, how to set properly.
About the example of fire... Please, could you tell me how to render your example file? I haven't TD. Is that a problem?

Export to standalone and let's compare in Standalone A3 vs A6. Check if you can the camera imager, environment,etc.. parameters.
You don't need to TFD. Just create a volume object. Select some VDB file and add any type of emissions. Or just use new volume medium in medium slot.

Thank you! This works wonderfully, now I can keep a stable version for work and keep toying with the alpha builds that Aoktar is so fast in pushing out. I won't have to wait and miss out anymore! :D

Is this PlugIn Boss compatible with R17? I tried it but it did nothing.

I'm using Plugin Boss with r17 on my Mac. No issues. One thing I did do incorrectly at first was not pressing the "Commit Changes" button before pressing "Restart C4d".

Inlifethrill tutorial perhaps?
