Posted on FB group but I was not able to find a solution to a similar problem I've seen on this thread and on the group.

No matter what Studio Driver I use (even after DDU clean install) I'm not able to export both Main and DeMain in any format from 1.8.3 onword. Last version writing a Denoised Bauty for me is 1.8.1.

I'll link the discussion on the post here with all the details so I won't need to write a wall of text. Hope is not against the forum rules.

Hi,

Have you installed ComfyUI on your machine, even in portable mode?

ciao,
Beppe

Ciao Beppe.

Yes, I have. In portable withing an environment with py and CUDA toolkit. It worked for months on the same machine with other versions of octane.

I've already uninstalled everything about it tho and retested. Still the same error with the new octane version.

Dear Beppe, dear Chris

once again I want to ask, if we could expect to have Octane render nodes for macos again? Would be very nice regarding the big VRAM and the actual very good stability of octane renderer under macos.
In June M5Ultra is expected and on the long run next M processors will have a render power of a rtx5080 or more...so it will be worth to put even laptops into the render network...

Thank you very much for your great work so far!

Kind regards from Cologne

Martin

Hi Martin,

I'm with you that a macOS Render-Node version would be very nice to have, but this doesn't depend from Chris or me, but from OctaneRender core.

Happy Mac GPU rendering!

ciao,
Beppe

Hello,

Inside the Octane Camera Tag, every time I try to enable the Imager, Cinema 4D crashes.

I'm using the latest Cinema 4D 2026.2.0 version and tha latest Octane render plugin 1.9.0.

I've attached the Bugreport file and also a Cinema 4D file that occur the problem.

Thank you

Nik

I found the crash. It will be fixed in the next build.
For now you can avoid the crash by making sure the octane LV window is open before you enable imager.
