As far as I can tell, "Fallback to source" is just a third property to try if the first two weren't found. I can't see any special treatment of it.

I just spotted a bug that will have prevented the "Fallback to source" channel from working. In the next version it will really work as I described, as the third option to use if the first two fail.

Detail Normal Map
Detail Specular Roughness Mult

The next version (due next week if all goes well) will include two features in template source property selection that will (hopefully) help you:

• a dynamic list of all of the properties of the Daz materials associated with the surfaces that the Octane material is currently assigned to
• a free-form text editor so you can specify the name of any Daz property even if it's not in the list

Is it important to you to be able to choose Iray Uber properties from the list even when the material is not currently assigned to a surface that uses the Iray Uber shader?

Oh that sounds like it will be helpful!. Will test when it's released then.

Do you intend to move the plugin to 2022 version? Maybe with the stable version.

He said there is a ton of work before he moves to 2022 probably gonna take a little longer
Also i say catching up to features of 2021 is more important than just build the plugin with 2022 and not get the features

Yep. At this point I'm hoping to be finished with supporting the 2021.1 features in the next couple of months. Fingers crossed, there should be an initial 2022 build released while it's still 2022, but it will take a while before all the 2022 features are exposed in the plugin.
