You had a material with displacement texture without uvmaping ? That's right ? Just to know.

actually, after retopology, we should be unwrapping the object again. I just used the UVW map for the test.

Hi Elvissuperstar007.
Which Ones? There're a lot of black pixels in this rendering.

Is viewport tone mapping set to LDR rather than HDR?
I had this effect once but changing to HDR fixed it.

little things make the difference... the list of maps now separated by categories is so good
if this concept was applied to the entire Octane SDK... man it would be a huge

Hi samsue,
I'm not exactly sure what it means.

HI,
im getting a very strange behavior with this version.
during Viewport rendering blank viewports start poping up. and i have to minimize those to get to the ACTUAL rendering vewiport.
rendering usually finishes but aftar that max crashes.
not sure what it is but it never happened to me before. only with this version.
for reference im using 3ds max 2018 and Nvidia studio drivers 462.59 on a Dual GTX 1080ti
one more thing is that when i open the slate material editor on right click to add a new material there is a 30-40sec freeze.
started happening when you added the maps and material groupings
any ideas?
regards
martin
