+1
The constant crashes make any job take twice as long to finish, most other things can be worked around.
Now that the Octane plugin has been officially endorsed by DAZ, is there a chance for better plugin implementation? I remember the previous developer saying that the biggest issue was not having any access to DAZ API.

Hello,
Hope that all my fellow netizens are well and safe.
@BK Could you please advise when we will see a next production version of the plugin with some of identified issues ironed out.
Thanks

Hi BK,
If you're prioritising fixing bugs, can you please prioritise fixing the issue where a 100% transparent shell that clashes with an existing surface causes the existing surface to be transparent as well? Currently i'm having to resolve the issue by using magnets to pull away the 100% transparent shell from the surface.

Can you create a separate thread? I'm sure people can give you advice on this

I've already had a thread on it since august 2019.

Hi BK! Is this issue something being looked into as well.
viewtopic.php?f=44&t=75086&p=386586#p386586
It really is a pain to constantly have to disable the plugin when posing anything that has a rigid follow node attached to it, and then re-enable after you've posed everything only to change your mind and then change the posing, thus having to disable the plugin again so it doesn't take several minutes.

Hi Sorel,
Thank you for the post.
We are unable to replicate this using Daz 4.15 Pro and Octane for DazStudio 2020_2_3_58 build on Genesis character.
In OctaneRender viewport we have only the **Live** option enabled.
Would you please share the steps or a video?
cheers

Here is a video I took. It's genesis 8 male basic with the charming rouge shirt and pants on. on the shirt you can see selectable objects, those are the rigid follow nodes attached to the buttons to make them keep their shape and not distort when moving with the shirt. But as you'll see, when the octane plugin is activated, applying full body poses causes the program to take forever to apply it. Even moving single parts or using the power pose tool are very delayed.
In the other video I have the plugin deactivated and as you'll see now the posing is pretty much instantaneous.
