I just tested with LW 2020 + Octane production build 2020.1.0.7 and the problem is still there.
Here are the files :
- Lightwave scene :
https://we.tl/t-A6Plm2LQfa
- Orbx file :
https://we.tl/t-Kw8PNBBG0i
Remember that the problem on the AO pass occurs only when network rendering is used.
Hi Mastoy,
Thank you for sharing this. I have identified the source of the issue and a fix will be included in the next release.
Regards.

Yes, with this flag enabled the plugin is going to add a spectron light to the scene.

Sorry if this has been already asked but I can't find whereto turn on the use lw instance option, when I double click on the kernel node, nothing opens. Is It normal?

So don't you have the menu of the render target root node? Please double-check if you are using the right Octane plugin build for your LightWave version.

El lw plugin es el 2020.1.06, pero lo instale con Lw 2020.01. Puede ser el problema?

Oups, sorry, I was writing in spanish with a friend and I kept in Spanish here without realizing.
No, I can't edit the render target main node, either by double clicking on It or right clicking and choosing "edit", nothing happens and no properties appear in the side panel property tab either.
I'm using LW 2020.01, could It be the problem?
No instances are visible in my scene...

Can you please check the installed plugin in the "About" window? Or perhaps if you have two or more plugins installed in the plugins window? I'm fairly sure that this is an installation issue because here it works fine, and I have no other reports about a problem like that ... only one some days ago, and it was an installation issue.
Thanks,
-Juanjo

Only one LW plugin installed, I formatted and installed win recently, this is the first Octane version I install on this computer.
The Modo plugin works perfectly btw. (I installed It after the lw plugin to check if I had problems too)

Yeap, I just installed LW 2019 and Octane plugin works perfectly, I can access the kernel node properties without any trouble. So I think that the lw 2019 version of the plugin doesn't work completely with LW 2020.01.
