hi ,
I confirm this behavior, only setub created in "tabs" are safe, those created directly in the node editor disappear randomly or entirely.
Thanks, I've fixed it. It was about some wrong ID for slots and wrong owner material. Strange nobody notified before this version.

Thank you for confirming,
I noticed some strange behaviors with nodes, for some time, I had already mentioned rather (rc1 maybe) nodes which disappeared when the files are reopened.
I thought this was part of the work in progress on the node editor.
In any case, don't hesitate to post news about the nodegroup feature.

Important warning about this build, I found it's breaking the connection with mix material setups. Please do not use this build for mix materials, I'll try to make a fixed build as I finished the another feature. Sorry for headache!

RTX not working AT ALL!

Anyone else not been able to get RTX to work AT ALL with the latest plugin? Anyone found a workaround?

I've got a really simple scene - literally just all Octane scatter and grass and plants from forester growing over the period of 250 frames... Only thing is that it's taking 10-20 minutes with a 2070 super to render a single 1000x1000 image... RTX smashed through Octane scatter stuff last time, it's half the reason I did something so simple...

Anyone fancy checking the scene for me, I've been having various driver issues, couldn't be related to that could it??

Hi chrisfranklin6002,
please, save the project with assets, compress the resulting folder, and share it with me via Private Message, if too big, you can share a link to dropbox or google drive.

ciao Beppe

hey,

am I missing something, or there is a GPU number limitation in this bulid? I have 4 video cards installed (2x 1080ti and 2x 2060 super) and all of them are available in octane but i can only select two for render. I have an enterprise license.

Opacity channel in universal material doesn't seem to work.
