Hi perro_abombao,
set the plane to movable proxy.

Hi Guys,

I just noticed that some aspects of the Octane objects are missing in this version, which were present in 6.14 ~ where can I find these settings?

Hi Paride,
any news about slow material editor? Even typing is slow after using octane viewport and messing with mesh and materials. I 've attached the video\

Thanks

Hi perro_abombao,
You could try first to disable the infinite plane for your object after loading the scene:
In the standard 3dsmax object properties, User defined tab, there should be a line
octane_special_obj_type = 1
that you can remove, or set '= 0'
You could then try to create a more simple object (eg a plane, with a simple octane material), that you can set a infinite plane.

Also, when loading from an old version (without the modifier), you can keep the 'object special type' : Infinite plane in the octane Object properties, as previously, by turning off
'Move Geometry settings to Octane Properties Modifier' in the 'Prev Versions' tab of global settings.

I hope that helps.
