Strange. You screenshots looks messed up with all versions. :D
I attached a screenshot with the Gama/LUT settings I used for ages now.

Even more strange is the fact it looks good in one cene but not another.

Hi Why does octane process itoo forest trees every frame/
First frame it took over 1 min to load which is understandable but frame 2, etc almost same amount of time. I thought all geometry should be in the vray already
