The one at the right hand end looks white but if you select it you may find it's actually red?
Hi Rik,
thanks for your help. I just checked there are only 2 colors black and white. I attached the scene with VDB cloud. Could you look at it? I just don't know why clouds are still red. Thank you

Ah, I think the issue I've had before only happens when the interpolation is set to constant.
When it's set to linear or cubic you can see the red in the gradient, when it's set to constant there's no indication of the last colour in the gradient bar unless you select the last pointe triangle thingy.
None of which helps your situation I'm afraid

Since your interpolation is set to linear then if your last colour was red it would be visible towards the end of the gradient bar.

it is strange I chose the third color in the gradient (linear mode) and it shows white for me not red like for you. I guess some strange bug.

Sorry, I'm not helping - the gradient ramp I posted was one I just made to show the lack of correlation between the colour on the gradient and the colour of the arrow when choosing constant interpolation.
Couldn't even open your sample as I'm stuck on release 14
From your image though it definately looks like something is wrong as there's no red in your gradient at all.
I'm sure Paride will be on the case soon.

My scene has octane proxies and when I move this scene to another hard drive and then open it - all proxies paths obviously become broken
But when I've been trying to reconnect paths for proxy files in moved scene using "Asset tracker" I can't change path for proxy
When I'm changing it and press ok - nothing is happening , path stays the same as it was in the original scene
For textures etc - changing paths is working just fine, but for Octane Proxy it is not working
I've recorded video which shows the issue

Hi Ramone163,
Thanks for reporting this issue, and for your scene
There is indeed a bug in 3.08 RC3, that has effects on noise and colors.
This will be fixed in the next release.
Thanks!

Hi SergKlyosov,
Thanks for your video ! This will be fixed in the next release.
For now, you can relocate your proxy by editing the object properties, and re-click on the proxy file to open the file browser, to point to the new file..
Sorry for the inconvenience..
Note that the volume files (.vdb) from the Octane Volume objects will also be added to the asset manager in the next release..

Hi coilbook,
you have to use volume ramp in absorption ramp or scattering ramp.
In 3.07 no color is displayed because node is wrong; those colors are simply a 3.08 attempt to read about something wrong.

Hi Paride
I tried but all clouds have the same scattering. I guess there is no way to have instant copies of VDB with different scattering and absorption values like random colors of instances ?
We want to use 1 instance but have different scattering values so clouds will look different
Thank you

Hi coiIbook,
I don't think I'm wrong, it's not possible, rather it creates some different clouds and then instantiates them.
