thanks for the signaling, i think it depends on new 4.43 emitter options features.
With black body and texture node in 4.43 you can manage visibility as in screehshot.

Thank you for your reply. But my problem is not about emitters. Octane Light objects visible option doesn't work well behind specular objects.

OK just gonna say, this version performs pretty fine.. and please if someone can actually leave some useful feedback if it's worth downloading - this one is worth the download

- working on production stuff already with this, didn't notice see any obvious issues yet - also network render works better now, connects every time, no rebooting of slave pcs needed

good job team..

Now - go and give us all the features fstorm has ;)

hi when connecting riser pci -x1 - render chokes when rendering FULL HD - is this normal ? and is it possible some kind of optimization for PCI x1

//////////////
I ran the test on PCIx16 all is well - turns out we don't have the ability to use a PCI x1 riser for the graphics card - as an option to use the cable X16

Still can't make any sense of the instance colour or instance range from your screengrabs.

Why spend so much time creating these features and then not releasing any decent documentation so they can actually be used.

Octane does not focus enough time on clear, thorough explanations and documentation for new features, instead leaving it to the paying end users to flail around wasting time trying to work out what's going on.

V frustrating
