Hello
there is a problem with the rendering when we launch a small rendering everything is fine I leave the rendering I change something and I redo the rendering and the window is black. there is no error in the log but I have to restart the scene.
try with just 1 light. because I think the problem comes from the lights

in fact I found the problem but I have not resolved I saw nothing in my scene because when I check movable proxy the object disappears when rendering? is a bug? look at the scene

Yes it is an issue around movable proxy:

4.42 is a test version, I think it will be fixe asap.

I cannot tell the difference between AO texture and AO distance. Should we keep AO texture at 1? It seems that lowering AO texture or increasing AO distance makes similar images Thanks

Hi coilbook,
AO also depends on the size of the scene, so small objects may not see much difference.

By the way is there anyway to have light emitting mesh (plane emitting caustic map on a ground) but have plane invisible? Thank you
