Hi can I control the level of AO, I know - but it sometimes I absolutely don't need when I'm working in Direct mode ... Ao I'm doing Dirt //// I can't exclude the AO from the scene .... I need to exclude from AO beauty .... I do feels bad ... and earlier in the Octane render 1.beginning of 2.x it was
....
now I get pass AO + I AO pass on beauty ... I understand that I have to make more passes and make precomps but I often don't need beauty enough . . .


long time Octane render 1.x Sample mode Environment off mode AO - and now there it is always enabled

When Octane window open, and press F10 (render setup) then 3dsmax crash !!!

At me doesn't fall when clicking F10

Hmm, this Build is working fine on my end ~ no Crashes at all in 3ds Max. I was using 4.24 for a while, and stayed away from 4.25 and 4.26 ~ 4.29 is working fine in 3DS Max 2017 and 2016.

I found the problem with crash - AO infopass

this is a normal display HDR
this is one of the most confusing decisions that I've seen

Fstorm. Vray . Corona. Red Shift. Mentalray. Arnold. Scanline --- normal display HDR

you're right when you say confused,
you're using Octane 2.26
We are using 4.29

what is planned to fix and what to add from past queries to optimize the plugin?
