I don't know where to save this setting for example

Also, when you said : "save it" do you mean I need to click export or New ?
Start DAZStudio, open the plugin and setup your default Octane settings, File->Save As "MyDefaults". Preferences->Scene->On "New" Load File "MyDefaults".

Hi Paul
I saw a odd thing in the Plugin today. (It also happened yesterday in the old Plugin (3.02), so I am not sure since when this happens).
When I render a Standalone Picture of Genesis 3 Female with Rexspec TGX and the geografted Hips, all looks perfect.
Octane Window opens and renders nicely.
When i try to render a 10 Frame Animation of the same Figure, starting with the same pose I just rendered the Single frame before, the geografted parts remain white and have no textures applied.
Do you have an Idea why this could happen? I use the exact same Rendersettings as just 2 Minutes before, but the Hips are all white. Do you have to go back to the geometry shelles for Animations?
Thanks for your help
Regards
B.
(PS I use DAZ Studio 4.9 Beta with the newest Beta Plugin).
Edit: Another strange thing i stumbeled over was, that after I exported the whole animation into a ORBX File in the systems tab, all texture nodes have been killed in Octane. All nodes where still there, but all the texutre dropdowns where empty and my G3F renderd in grey only after exporting. I had to set up the whole renernodes from scratch to get it back working again.

I have no explanation as to why this would occur, but will take a look.

I didn't think you referrer to DazStudio

Well, this is a solution that I have already used, but something load a default scene cause some problems (pretty rare) so I learned to open the DS only in "pristine" condition!
Anyway, thanks !

I think it's time to share a problem I've been dealing with since "always".
I can't reproduce it, I can't understand why, but some times the render just stops and I can't do anything other than crash Daz Studio. Sometime, after a complete reboot the same image reaches 10000 or 20000 pass and I'm able to save.
I can't really understand why this happens with some images, but I must confess it's pretty annoying since I must trash 1/2 hours of rendering.
I will be happy to share more info, but right now I don't know where to start!
Thanks

This sounds move like a hardware issue than software. Have you tried monitoring your hardware temps with GPU-Z? Does the Octane Log on the System tab of the plugin show anything when this happens?

Hi Paul, thanks for the quick reply.
The temperatures are pretty good, always around 70c each, sometime even less (I have 3 gtx 980ti) and the logs shows nothing unfortunately.
Anyway, this problem appears mainly when the scene is pretty "busy". So a couple of character with clothes and a scenery. However I always add out-of-core memory. Sometime works, sometime not.
Probably a problem with the Vram ?

Maybe. Perhaps try increasing the Out Of Core Headroom a little. When it next happens, make sure you check the Octane Log - it will provide more info.

Hi Paul,
Came across a bug I think. Rendering animation fails when you use a Render Setting from "My Presets".
DS4.9 and OcDS 3.3.2.23
