Moving to 2.8 from 2.1, when I have an target Octane Camera focus set on "Target" I get nothing but grainy white renders. If I change the focus to manual or auto focus, it works fine.

I can't get the plugin to work.
It simply won't detect my GPU inside Octane's 3ds max plugin. The weirdest thing is that it works just fine on the standalone version.
Machine's configuration:
Geforce GTX 970
Nvidia driver 355.82
3dsmax 2015/16
Octane Plugin v.2.23.2-2.8
Octane Standalone v.2.24.1
Extra info:
The scene was built inside of max. I only opened it in Octane in order to check if the problem was Octane standalone or plugin related
The scene renders fine in other machines with the same configs (standalone and plugin versions)
It is NOT a scene related problem. The plugin doesnt work at all
I've just formated and reinstalled the OS and programs in the hope that something could be wrong with my OS, but it didn't help at all
I also disabled the onboard GPU in the BIOS to eliminate any sort of conflict between the onboard GPU and the GTX 970
ANYONE?!

Hi.
Splines don´t render unless you put a poly, or mesh- modifier on top.

I also use the CG-Source HDR images. And it is a natural behaviour that you will get black reflections from the ground, if the ground is black.
They are intended to use with a proper floor, usually your terrain and then add some background images (with alpha) like trees or so to get more spiced up window reflections.

then add the necessary support for this feature
