Unfortunately, when I upgraded to 2.24.0 from 2.23.2-r6.2 the octane materials (diffuse, specular, glossy) no longer show up in the materials palette. They show up as empty boxes instead of showing the material on a sphere. When I apply to an object, the object turns black and nothing renders. I have since downgraded back to 2.23.2 and the materials are back to working fine.
I am on a recent iMac running c4d r16.050.
Do you see gpus in devices tab? What are you reading in Console window? Any Octane related output?

Every animated object requires a object tag. Or use "auto detect" or "All movable" option. Also read manual and see tutorial videos why we put a object tag.
ok, but object tag. dont showme feedback in viewer

You talk different issue. Have you readed last changes on render options? Do you know why we use object tag?
Btw, if you put object tag before display tag, it will not replace opacity value.

Ok, juste received 2 answers after sending mail to the address related :
"Thank you for reaching out to us. This issue is best handled by our New Zealand office, I will forward this to them and they should get back from them during their regular business hours within 24 hours."
"I am happy to inform you that the issue has been resolved and that our downloading feature should be back to normal. If you continue to experience issues, please do not hesitate to let us know and we will address the problem as soon as we can. "

I'm wondering why this project file keeps crashing c4d when I send to live viewer.
When I delete all of the geometry and replace it with a cube and an Octane Environment, it sends to live viewer just fine with no crash. Bug report attached.

UPDATE: I posted earlier that I thought it was an issue with too hight of subdivisions in the wall trim but I no longer think that is the case. I'm completely stumped.
