You should disable "Hair render" in settings. Things are changed on latest versions. I know that's weird but it makes conflict to read data. I'll take a look for next versions to find a fix.

I feel bad that we keep bugging you over simple things like this Aoktar. Is there any online documentation on issues like this for hair and x particles so we know what to do in the in the future?

Most updated doc is pdf in plugins/manual. Online manual is a bit outdated. But feel free to ask anythings. I cannot frequently update/add the small tricks, etc.. in manual. I will have to think about better help system.
