Wow, dude. Great job, I'm especially impressed with the construction of that jumpsuit!

Thanks man!
The patterns are actually quite simple. It took me about a day to model that jumpsuit, but would've been faster if I'd known exactly what I was doing then.

In my opinion, Marvelous Designer is truly the best standalone dynamic clothing solutions on the market today, in terms of ease of use, realism and portability of files.

For those of you who are thinking of taking their first step with MD, the software has a free 15-day trial period with full functionality. It used to be 30 days but whatever... I don't think you'll need more than a week to get up and running with it and start creating decent looking clothes. Also there's tons of tutorials out there on MD that will help you learn faster. ;)

Have you bought it, or are you on a subscription? I really don't like the subscription model, but it's a bit unclear how it works if you buy a perpetual licence and v5 comes out.

In my case, I subscribed to MD3 for a year. When MD4 came out I decided that the new features in it would satisfy my needs for at least a couple years, so I bought a perpetual license rather than pay for just one more year.

I don't like their subscription plan personally, because it costs so much per year. Two years of subscription costs $720. The perpetual license costs $550. I'd rather pay less than the price of two years's subscription and get to use the software for as long as I like. The only way that the subscription would be worth the money is if MD5 is released in less than two years, and it has incredible new features. MD4 is incredible enough for me now and into the foreseeable future, I can't even imagine what they could add to it in MD5. (well - maybe a better "import OBJ to garment", ha!)
