Yes Paul,

My bad. :?
When I started adjusting that Grass material I would use sliders in ORender Setup window. Getting desired look for value 3.0 instead default 0.3 I assumed that scaling was 10 instead of 0.1.
Now, 1.0 - 0.1 Texture scaling range in Configuration is good enough for most materials, usually 0.5 gives me the best results.
Anyway, thank you for your time to check that!

Hi everyone. A quick update on the 1.21.1 build of the plugin...there is an issue with the current Octane API which is likely cause issues for users of the ArchiCAD plugin, so I will hold off releasing the ArchiCAD plugin until this is fixed - which will be in the next Octane release. For those wanting to play with out of core textures and light passes, you can export to Octane Standalone to experiment with these features.

Below are links to a test version of the plugin for Octane 1.21.1.

This version contains the change to increase the Material Name length from 50 to 100 characters. This means .pla and .pln files saved with this version cannot be opened with previous version of the plugin. So pls make backups of any pla/pln files prior to opening with this version of the plugin.

For the first week, pls do not use this version of the plugin in production - consider it for testing only.

2.21.1.38
- Compiled with Octane 2.21.1
- Added an information message when an ArchiCAD Surface name is > 30 characters. These names must be 30 characters or less.
- Maximum scatter transforms have been increase to 1,000,000
- Added "Cube Map" project type to the Spherical Camera
- Added Out-of-Core Textures options to the Configuration window - where texturemaps can now be stored in CPU/Motherboard RAM if graphic card VRAM is full. Enabling this sets the RAM limit to your total RAM amount.
- Added Light Passes (you can now assign a Light Pass to each Emitter, and then view each light pass as a Render Pass). See http://render.otoy.com/manuals/Poser/?page_id=369 for details.
- Added additional GDL Parameter for proxy setups (OctaneProxy_FaceCamera), which sets the Face Camera checkbox
- Added option to import a proxy from an Octane Standalone OCS or ORBX files. The ORBX/OCS file must have one single disconnected Mesh node in order for the import to work. Materials for imported OCS/ORBX files cannot be edited in the plugin - they need to be edited in Octane Standalone
- Fixed critical issue where "Save All Scene Materials To Defaults" was saving an invalid rendertarget which would crash ArchiCAD when next loaded

Download the plugin from the following links:

Thanks - was the scene last saved with 2.20.0.37 or 2.21.0.39 pls?

[EDIT: Nevermind - I think I can see the problem. I will post a fix in the next 12 hrs.]

Thanks. Pls refrain from using 2.21.1.39 until I fix the above issue. It is saving incorrect info to the pln/pla file. Unfortunately extending the material name length from 50 to 100 has proven much harder than I thought. Apologies for the problem.
