One thing about these buttons. They disappears after render stops. For example, I use LV for quick tune materials etc etc... Quick, fast, not detailed. Big size render in future. And I set small numbers of samples for that, naturally.
I get picture in seconds, render stops, and it's no possible to preview rendered passes without restarting render progress..
I don't know about other users, but sometimes I have a little demons inside for disappearing buttons :D

You can force the buttons and render statistics stay on screen by going to Octane Settings -> Settings -> Other -> Enable "Keep Stats". Hope this helps.

Cheers!

The background object doesn't seem to work (R16).
If I open "background_and_matte.c4d" scene from the sample scenes, the background object works like it supposed to, but if I try to recreate the setup in another scene it doesn't. Further more, if I merge a new scene with the sample scene it doesn't work.

Is there another solution for setting up a background image (other than in compositing)?

Hi Aoktar

I installed the rc 2.20 on c4d r13, livewer operates normally, but after running "render to picture viewer", and stop it, i can't launch liveviewer, i need to stop and restart c4d.
Do you know this pb?

Thanks

I've noticed that the "Surface Brightness" and "Cast illumination" parameters are working on the "Blackbody Emission" node but not on the "Texture Emission" (R16).
Is there a difference between the two of them if you don't want emitted light?

Thank you.

can't see same behaviour. Can you check it for a different scene to see same again?

Thank you very much for your help and for your patience.
