The lady below is using the geografted genital:
Left : with "Geometry Editor" or "Node Weight Brush" tools activated, something goes wrong;
Right : with any other DS4 tool activated, it works.
You just need to tweak the tools while octane render window is active to see this issue. I know that DS4 deals differently with the geometries when these two tools are activated, but this forum will receive a lot of support requests about it ... ;)

Another side note : After change the "Size/Aspect Ratio" from "Custom" to any other, it's not possible to set this field to "Custom" again.

The Geo editor messes up grafts for me as well, also in the viewport, so maybe that's a DAZ thing...

I also encountered the same problem.
Attached is my crashdump. I'm pretty sure that this has nothing to do with Reality.

If you dont own a license for the 2.0 then you need to install the 1.55 option or login & upgrade here:http://render.otoy.com/account/upgrade_license.php?

I'm gonna wait this out just a lil bit longer but I've read the update threads to see whats going on. I'm started to get excited :) Can't wait to get my hands on this. I've taken a long break from rendering and have some projects I want to work on pretty soon. :mrgreen:

Maybe I missed something. Is there a way to save materials that have been tweaked within the OcDS NGE?
I spend about an hour to assign and modify the materials to look the way I want, only to have it crash for some reason (v1.2 as well) and have to start all over again.

Thanks

Yeah there's definitely some kind of issue with materials. In my case either if I add any materials using the octane plugin or load any pre-saved figures (e.g. saved from the 1.2 plugin) I get a crash. It renders fine with no materials added. But this is a show stopper. That said, T3 did say this is just a preview....

Yes, I know...its a preview. It happens in both versions. I'm just trying to figure out how to recover. It's been 4 days and still I can't render what I have designed. I've hit this from every angle possible (alembic, old version, new version, chopping up the scene and importing into stand-alone, you name it). I've sort of committed to this workflow (contractually and financially). Every time I think I've got a handle on it, I get clobbered with another issue. This take Caveat Emptor to a whole new level for me.
