i am impressed by that gain of speed! Thanks a lot!
But: What is Coherent mode? What does it do?
What exactly is Path Termination option and what does the value mean?.
Btw.: When can we expect an up-to-date manual?

I guess I was wrong light is still not static

. This bright yellow specs (glossy material sun light) still move like crazy. But seems to me sometimes if I isolate an object and render reflection inside of it, the reflection's noise does not move at all? strange

I got a warning. My language was not appropriate for this board. I appologise.
Sometimes you have to use strong words in order to make your point.
I'm so tired of stupidity.... I'm tired of fighting and requesting..
For me it is not logical, that you change the features of a commercial renderer "just like that" and dont even mention it in change log.
It has been discussed a lot in different forums of different render engines. It always ends up with conclusion, that static noise is bad.
This is why Octane is not stable enough for professional work. I just lost a 24h rendering where I needed noise and I got a static pattern over my animation.
It makes me a bit angry.. just a little bit. I had to reinstall 2.06 and start all over, because someone thought, that static noise makes his images cleaner. (or whatever the reason was)

WHO the f*ck requested it???????
For f*ck sake stop messing around with things that work.
If you have to have it, then please.. please make it optional !!!!

Static noise problem.
Exactly - the static noise is a problem in any animated scene. PLEASE MAKE IT OPTIONAL.
You will loose every client that want to use animation. Previous noise was great for animation, it looked like 35 mm grain.
This is why VRAY RT sucks for animation - there is static noise only. I bought octane because of this.
Please make static noise optional in next release.

+1 Remove or make static noise optional. I've bought octane for animation purpose - static noise is a NOGO

These speed increases are amazing to say the least ! .. makes me feel more confident to use Octane over Vray in production!
