gold: the one out now works... I render a few major images, and sometimes full animations, each night. I'm awaiting the 2.0 so I can take advantage of the new stuff (I forget what some of that is at the moment, but I remember 'it's awesome'). However, I fully use the currently (6-12 months ago) released version regularly.

thank you Jimgale,

My DAZ copy is deactivated at this time. Every-time I popped in here, unfortunately I was welcomed by seemingly iffy, uncertain, or bad news. So I stopped coming. { Of course, I might have just come
on rare, off days?}

In contrast, my other Octane plugin { Poser} has been a dream: updated faster than you can imagine - everything working great. I have remained positive however. So- I will download the upcoming DAZ release - and hope for - and wish all the best.

thanks

gold: I understand. I would buy the Poser Octane plugin too, except that (at least a year ago as I haven't updated), the scripting engine in DAZ is far superior to Poser. I use it to create my animations. Plus Poser blows up (blew up) very often. Every time I download a new version, it's never fixed. I *wish* Poser had a good scripting engine and didn't blow up because the hair/fabric/physics is far superior in Poser (as DAZ has none).
