should have a switch to or turn to geometry as you choose octane for rendering..

I relaunched the scene and it did it after 4 frames. So if i did not interrupt it it would've finished all 800 frames; but after playing the game, browsing, using sony Vegas Octane freezes.... wonder what messes it up

I am pretty sure it is a hardware issue.

I would be dissapointed if it is a hardware issue, I've just bought some new cards, big PSU, motherboard, etc. If my setup isn't good enough then I don't know what system could run Octane with multiple cards.

I have the same issue, black first frame, renders freeze towards the end of a random frame in a sequence.

Hi Karba,

you checked my scene "mylights"?

If I open the scene contained in the zip archive, that I've created for the community, and I hit "open the OctaneRender viewport" button, nothing happens.

If I hit the Render button the render starts.

Octane 2.04, Max 2014 latest update, latest drivers, etc., etc.

If I switch "on" the first ies while the Octane render buffer shows that gradient shape the render starts.

Please call these releases beta or put the daily builds in a private ftp where I (we) can have access.

Thank you.
