Do you have an ETA for LiveDB/Macro integration? I'm working on a project that I started with the standalone, where I saved a lot of the materials as macros. I'm trying to decide if I should just redo them as new Octane nodes in Blender or wait.
You should not rely on beta version when work on some urgent projects... As any estimate in programming area can not be accurate.
I have LiveDB in plans, but I can't say when it will be ready...

In this case you should definitely get the update from my last post.
Sorry, I thought that you got the problem with OctaneServer...

Not official. It is the new generation filestore with user-side encryption. So, even the store owners can not decrypt the file. And only you decide who will be able to get the decrypted file, granting the access to them.
You can read about these new principles here: https://mega.co.nz/#privacycompany

I'm very glad live db material integration is planned. Everything is working great, but so far the most tedious part has been material setup/creation from scratch for almost everything.

Another interesting idea (and what I'm doing so far while liveDB arrives) is to create a blender scene with several cubes and different materials already setup on them, then all you gotta do is append them in other scenes and apply the materials you imported.

I need help with chrome BTW, lol ;) If anyone has a nice chrome setup in a .blend please share it.

regards,
Alvaro

Can some of you guys translate for me from English to English what does steveps3 mean here? Are you all usually shocked the same way when somebody tries to help you with information about file-hostings where you can securely upload your huge scene file? Or perhaps some of you really believe that Otoy mailbox is able to receive 280MB attachment?..
Can somebody "translate" this lunge for me?..

JimStar, it looks like his total misunderstanding... or trolling.

I'd like to ask a question (sorry if it has already been asked): will there be a feature (someday) of exporting scene to Octane Standalone scene file (with materials, camera and enviromental settings)?
