Well, with more testing. If there are no props or scenes both V4's render fine. The scene does not exceed the textures of card. No Errors, just freeze up. Renders fine just in Poser Firefly, but Octane won't. Any ideas?

I can render the scene with no V4 or other characters and it's fine. UGH>

I would try Cuda drivers 3.14.

I only updated the cuda driver today. It started before that. Really strange. Just won't render prop/character of space dock scene with both V4's and textures. Have to do the re-import figure/prop, and then it freezes on opening the viewport to render.

Just tried it again. Did V4 characters first, then added in Space Dock scene. Renders with no V4 textures I applied, so I did the re-import prop/figure for both in Octane Materials Tab. Opened viewport, and got the RED Low Video Card Memory" error at top of viewport. What is going on? More bugs in the plug?

Oh also. When it started to freeze. I hit the pause button. Then hit the > button and it started to render, but REALLY slow, like I had the worst bottom end card.

When it is rendering slow - if you mouseover the bottom panel in the Viewport, what statistics are provided? Can you give a screenshot?

I'm tired of restarting my computer. Hard drive is going to crash if this keeps up. The statistics at the bottom if I hover mouse are well with the limits of the card. Like 900mb/2gb. Textures are well below the limit. I've got tons of work to do, can afford these setbacks. What do I do now?

If everything is just freezing, my best guess is that it's a card failure of some sort.

You are using a new card right? Have you tried those scenes with your old card? Are both cards in the same PC? Have you tried under-clocking the new card?

Are you running TechPowerUp GPU-Z? If you run this you can monitor you card temperatures and clock speeds. When the Viewport freezes, do the clock speeds drop?
