So I placed a bump map from the valerie daz elite texture over top of my own model and though it did indeed make a real difference to the realism I didn't like the look so I sculpted a new bump map in zbrush. Though it's not even close to 100% it looks much better. Next I put together the nodes in the first of your SSS skins and plugged in my skin diffuse and my new bump and let it cook. I can already see at 300 samples in PMC it gives a really nice skin effect. Awesome work Wilt and thanks for sharing! I'm going to let it cook to at least 600 samples and then I'll post the WIP.

So I let it bake till 600 samples in PMC. Please ignore the crap eyelashes, horrible eyes and poorly modeled ears and take a look at the awesomeness of Wilt's shader:

This is the superspec shader built in the standalone. I'm pretty sure it would look even better if I let it run longer and with more attention paid to the lighting. As it is I'm pretty impressed. Once again: I bow before your genius!

Im far from being genius when It comes to these things he he he, Im just glad you where able to compile it in standalone. once you get the hang of what does what its like an open playing field. Please share you progress images, as it inspires all. :)
