really nice work with the live database..

now it looks like a logical upgrade would be to do a search window..
and I got quite used to using the slate editor, so a drag and drop option would be quite beneficial, but for a first version the database upgrade is great..
now it is obvious that the this plugin can be upgraded with a lot of functions, the material converter is making life easier, and this is a great help, now I'm gonna have me a fun time browsing through the materials
now it would be real nice if we could download a certain category, maybe that would be beneficial to the server since it could work with less connections

Forgive me if I am missing something, but I don't see any instructions for how to download liveDB materials and bring them into Max. Also, is there an easy way to download the full material library or does it have to be one material at at time?
Just use LiveDB section in render settings.

Never mind! I think I have figured it out.
I see that there is a new button to access the liveDB from within the OctaneRender Settings dialog.
One small thing I notice is that when I attempt to place the Titanium material into the material editor, it won't go. The other metals seem to have no problem. Perhaps it has something to do with it being at the bottom of the list. No big deal but I thought you might want to check it out.

Access to the liveDB is a wonderful addition! Thank you so much.

corrugated metals also dont seem to load, some materials overlay materials that were there before.. the material editor looks correctly loaded but sometimes they turn out completely different that what is represented roughly 15% of materials didnt load properly, maybe I need another test run and write down the ones that do not load

maybe there should be a flag besides the materials, as to report the non working ones easily..
also some checking if the material is already in the temp folder, easier to load like that than fetching it from the server every time
