you can reduce the amount of fireflies by making the roughness parameter for the floor glossy material a bit higher...

thanks....i'm studing the better mode to export obj from C4D to Octane ....in this scene i've mapped all texture...diffuse and spec in c4d and in octane when i've imported this file ....BUMMM...all the tex is in their position.

When i finished it...than i'll make a little videotutorial for the C4D users to explain my better solution to import an obj

Thanks for the suggestions Radiance , and see you soon here :)

Question:

Are we allowed to use freely released models?

lol apparently not.

my question is tho, are we going to be judged moreso on modelling ability, or the quality of renders? or both. i'm curious as to what I should devote more time to.

Well it is not a modelling challenge, so you can use freely released models but you should mention it and this can be taken into consideration when results will be compared. And by the way if you use free models we expect high value in the composition of course and the image quality.

There's a lot of noise but maybe i have a STRENGHT DOF...don't worry this night take a time to reduce dof and sampling more the image. :)

change of idea....no cook more your render......eat it immediately!!!!!!!!!!

Radiance could you please send your logo for more texturing some material in the scene?...... :)

maybe best to use the wip forum to post works in progress,
otherwise this competition thread will get too complicated to follow...

PS: i'll send you the logo via pm
