hey radiance..
i tried to remove the noise in your video with a demo version of http://www.neatvideo.com ... i used only the temporalfilter for virtualdub and the result ist great :)
you musst try it.. :)

Also for VirtualDub is a great free filter, which calls MSU Denoiser. MSU Denoiser way can use the GPU to work
p.s. but VirtualDub does not open mp4 videos

...i extractet first the mp4 to image sequenze with quicktime...

The best workflow, according to my humble opinion, for this kind of videos:

###

1) Render the movie as single photos, named for example murcielago_0001, murcielago_0002, etc.

2) Use Virtualdub to render the photo series to a film:

3) Use Avidemux to convert the movie to final form:

http://avidemux.sourceforge.net/

Both VirtualDub and Avidemux are freeware programs, but they are powerful tools in the hands of someone who knows how to operate them. Avidemux allows for example temporal smoothing and other such filtering options.

i used neatvideo with only temporal filter.. no tweaking of the settings..
