I'm pretty much OK doing an alpha build without OSL it doesn't really affect me day-to-day and I suspect the same is true for others here. I'm OK with waiting for round two for OSL.
Anyone else agree???

I don't dispute the amount of work that has been put into making OctaneX work, and I'm both grateful and very excited about it. The agonising wait continues, but I'm still looking forward to it, nonetheless.

yeah, would be so awesome start using the Mac pro with Octane...
I need to render with my old computer all the time, and It is so desperate this situation.

WWDC 2020 ( Apple developers conference) is scheduled for 22 June. The beta timing I think is in line with a possible presentation of Octane X on that event...

I'm hoping for a WWDC announcement of a Mac Pro price reduction, or an iMac with enough grunt to run Octane nicely.

Some news about the beta-testing progress of OctaneX would be nice. Or an ETA for a the public beta. Or anything frankly.
