I have observed that when I need to edit an object in Standalone, or to export to an ocs o orbx for only some objects in C4D scene, there will be exported all materials even if they are not assigned to the active objects effectively exported. Then I must clean in the node editor of Standalone the unused material for more clean view in Graph Editor. In the case of orbx are also exported the textures so the dimension of file grow accordingly.
The cleaning of unused materials is frustrating and is time consuming, expecially when there are 20-50-100 materials to delete.

Looks like a user request, but this is not on my todo list. My all attention is for providing better workflow in C4D not standalone.

Another question is on Render Passes, if selected it is not exported as visible node on Graph Editor but it will be present only on Node Inspector.
Last one questions on Other Settings, what mean "syncronization on geo. updates" and "Experimental"?
Manu
Octane can store nodes in nodegraph or parent node as internal nodes. It should be internal node.
"syncronization on geo. updates", it should be selected for windows pc and unselected for Macosx systems. It's related how i'm catching the geometry. Has big impact on performance.
"Experimental", a secret setting for my tests. Keep it disabled, otherwise can cause unexpected behaviours.

It'd be useful if we have navigation buttons in the LV window.

It's really useful feature for big resolution images like in Standalone. When i can pan and zoom to see the details of rendered image.
There are 2 mods in Live Viewer for C4D :
1. Output is re sized to fit Live viewer window
2. And Lock resolution when window size can't affect Output resolution.
Aoktar is it possible to add pan and zoom functionality to second mod when Lock resolution is enabled ?
Thank you.
it's on my list. but it's not so easy as it sounds.
Would like to add my +1 on this feature. I could do this using a duplicated main camera and zoom/offset it there. But that would force a refresh.

I can't remember if it been mentioned before, but render kernels presets could be super useful.

Hey Ahmet, thanks for the work you've done, and here is my request if possible:
1.Most of the time, those mat previews in node editor are not up to date.
2.Can you add the feature so that I can drag the coming-in part of the linking curve to attach to other nodes' output port? Just like the XPresso editor.
Thank you very much in advance.

Hi,
ORBX Import.
Import Geometry, Texture, Lights ... ORBX for Cinema 4D would be great.

That Might have been asked for already but it would be great in LV to
- lock aspect ratio when scaling LV window
- numerically enter a pixel value for LV window size.
Thanks
Dan

Would be nice to get an easy focal depth box that would drop in objects and have it stay focused on. Just like the Focus Object works in the regular camera.
Thanks Aoktar!

It's currently possible since first version. Just use camera's focus object and disable autofocus.

No I mean instead of only a distance, we could plug in an object. Like the Focus Object in c4d's default camera. See screen shot attached.
