Sorry for the late reply... been very busy with all things in life not 3d related :) what I did was.... load 3 basic v4 figures in the same scene load lets say redspec on the one and red x on the other. Then on the base v4 that has no sss material loaded... go to lets say... v4 face and change to a material mix node. Then copy the whole v4 face of redspec figure and paste it over material one and do the same with the red x material and paste it over material 2 of the base v4 face. And there you have two sss structures running in a mixed mode with each other. Then copy the whole v4 face of the v4 you just modified and paste it over the other body parts in octane retaining image maps.... I tiped this from my phone so I hope it comes out clear. :)

I was actually just getting ready to try that! Let me know how that goes. I bet there is a sweet spot combination too.

Too reflective IMHO. Looks like they're always oiled or plasticy. I like the drier, realistic look.

Here is the Same Skin with added roughness on the on the one SSS structure and decreased roughness and specularity on the other.

Last I tried these POC files don't work with the 1.28 version of the plugin which makes me a sad panda. Are they going to be updated for users that donated?

They seem to work for me. What makes you think they don't work - in case I'm missing something...

Now I will say, that because of a change Paul made several builds back, the plug-in will now display error messages on missing textures (and some of the .poc's have a bunch of them) but if you "retain existing textures" you should be good to go! If you still get errors, most likely the plugin is trying to load built-in transparencies.
