stable version is >=0.87b

Thank you for the suggestion.
I did a try and I got a very strange error with a basic diffuse material, with an OCT checkers shaders in the diffuse channel. Please see the attached pic. I don't use oct very often... maybe I'm doing something wrong...

for me it works correct ..used yesterday..try to change the mapping method... i used planar mapping - worked normal..i think in your scene its uvw with these wrong coordinates...

checker is working in 3d world coordinate system. i think this is zero point overlapping. try to little move in y-axis
