The same as in Softimage, also no work for me to change it 8-)
At 300% zoom you will see the offset...
The one from Octane has a little offset to the lower right corner.
I have reported that yesterday...

thanks for the plugin ! so far it does what i need it to do but.....

will it eventually be possible to just move the octane camera inside of octane using the animation from the maya camera ?

octane renders the scenes very fast but the speed gets lost by re-exporting the obj for each frame. my obj's are typically around 100mb because they are store interiors.

thanks !

@nick

about the 1st question i cant tell u any thing u must ask the dev ;) for octane, if they make support ill make exporter for camera ;)

2nd, ur right i also loose some speed in exporting procedure, but what can i say thats the workflow for now, but i think even with other renderers the situation is the same, if take a look mw, or fry when u try to render anim they also export frame by frame from 3d app

cheers

set up a ram drive for loading/saving the OBJ files, it speeds things up considerably...

I have a scene and Animation in Maya a "hand grenade m67". I want to Render that scene in Octance with this script. But how to set the materials I like in Octane when rendering from maya to octane?

Thx!
