Does anyone know what is the deadline for this competition ? Originally it was 9th April - but i think they were going to change it. Is that right ????

The competition starts now, 9 March 2010 and will close on 18 April 2010 at 20:00 (20pm) GMT+1 (Central European Time). Yes it was moved

Hi! This is my entry, some tests with my Unterseeboot 47 (with real camouflage). I based on Aj-press books while modeling and texturing process in Blender. Polys - 200 000
Sorry for small resolutions but on higher levels my GPU crashes with Octane.
I used demo version, what a pity it's not supports Bumpmaps, water surface looks very poor without them.
Inspiration? I'm a sea dog :D

By the way, I made some postpro on one render, I know this kind of postproduction is unacceptable in competition but I upload it beside the challenge.

Agree I have a thread(WIP) on Blender community site where I have some renders from Yaf(a)ray and this one from Octane with postproduction waves, I' ve uploaded it yesterday.

love the shot :) I told You already. Very dynamic - Yes I know that boat is not exposed too much , BUT....... ( here I will defend Your composition ;) )....... its supposed to be not noticed :) since its not F16 :)
