				A comparison between the Softimage and the Octane one.
Same as above, a cube with a size profile curve on the strands, this time with various particle sizes and subdivided...
Even if nobody knows, what I do

				An old thread with a simple new test animation 

This stand animation uses only a sphere as instance shape which is extruded along the strands...

Nope, the scene is remeshed every frame, because the deformation (vertices/normals) is calculated from the plugin

Correct but it is not perfect, you can see a shadow.
I have an other idea which can be better...
