Hello Paul,
Thanks for this fix. Now it resolved but still it doesn't save the animation frames.

Set timeline (for example) 0 to 3
Set max samples to a low value
Set Animation folder in animation tab
Click animate button to render the timeline
There is no file saved in the folder and after each frame octane error dialog box opens.
FileName::existsAsDirectory() can be called only on absolute file names
can't open '' for writing.
failed to save render

Thanks Paul.

By the way, you have the wrong dates on the release notes

Thanks so much Paul,
I think the new save system doesn't save multiple render passes. I tried both "multi layer" and "multi layer discrete files" from animation tab, but it ends up with saving just currently activated render pass.

Am I missing something about this change note:
- Selecting the render pass from the Render Passes panel has been removed. Instead now use the Render Pass selection drop-down box on the Octane toolbar

It looks like saving multi-layer EXR files is working, but not discrete layers to PNG files. I will fix this.

Hi,
Octane dont work with Modo 15. I know it just came out, but it would be cool to test with the new Modo 15 =)

Modo15 uses a new set of Qt libraries, so I am working with Foundry to get the plugin working with these. In the meantime, I suggest sticky to Modo 14 when using the plugin.
