i am exhausted and disapointed... with 087b i just get black frames in pictureviewer. liveview renders "normally" i THINK.

this shows up in console after every image...

EDIT!

it was the old "JUST PARAMETRIC SPHERES" problem...

please check that parametric spheres do NOT get exported in picviewer BUT in liveview. thx. i set up a doubleframe testecene which renders a few hours or so.

i let you know.

Because liveviewer uses viewport geometry caching. Render perfect is not meaningful for this. But renderer is not generate automatically.
Eric, make me some capture and send pm if you have some problems.

I read in the news forum that octane c4d 1.0 will be ready on oct 16? yet there is no R15 support?

Hi, i know that probably my question is rather "old"...but i still can't understand plugin for C4D R10 is not available:( i'm using exporter, but it's not fun to make tens exports per hour if geometry of model i changed:( I have no chance to pay 1500 EURO for C4D update to R14 or R15 update. I have standalone version of OCTANE, and i'm ready to pay not 99 EURO for plugin but 200-300 EURO for live plugin for C4D R10 :) I love Octane renderer so much :) Please, maybe in next months or in next half year someone from you great OCTANE TEAM will find some solution to make live plugin for C4D R10...

I'm not sure about this support. This is not a matter of finding a solution. Need lot of tweaking and time spending on our code for this.

yes, correct. R14 and R15 is binary compatible, you should work nicely if you have luck. But debugging for R15 that is needed a code revisions. There is no R15 exe because of this.

hey aoktar,

OK, but isn't it a little early to call it final when it doesn't even support the latest release yet?
I guess it's a political disussion, but to me it seems that, although I really enjoy working with the plugin, it's far from final.
anyway, off topic, sorry.

I Agree with mate
it's to early for this plugin to call it final release next week

I'm considering to get another license but with current version I get random crashes.

Another thing is user interface.
Besides of stability issues there is a lot of GUI (User interface) improvements to be done.
I was expecting from final release the same fast work like in Standalone release.

I totally agree with you is to early for call this final version is not stable and need some adjustment in the GUI and save option,
material path need to be review, viewport OpenGL need to be adjust and many more...
Otoy go fast for call this final release is bad marketing ...
is just my opinion.
