You are right, "use viewport backround" command works intermittently.
I will report the issue to the developers.
To use neutral background, you could save a gray rgb texture, to use as a reference,
just like in a photographic studios.
You should also have a calibrated monitor though.

why complicate things .... implement Clipping warning is the solution to many problems
can do this and not to force to do stuff too ... the sun is shining - the monitor already shows a different sun changed the color and the white color is changed in the monitor.. for a perfect monitor should be the ideal dark room with the Windows closed and exposed to constant light.!!!!
------------- calibration and white of course necessary to monitor --------------

well the main point is to make "viewport backround" checkbox work as advertised
- works with a reload of a project, so probably just needs to force some local variable reload in the code..

Hi acc24ex,
as mentioned earlier, it was already verified and reported to developers.
Using a grayscale panel was simply an advise.

Hi guys.
I have a big scene.
In a scene no one camera.
Render runs without problems.
Once you have created the camera in the scene and run OctaneViewport 3dmaks an error.
But if you create a camera running OctaneViewport error does not occur.
It still continues with later versions

Hi AlexMakhov,
I tried to reproduce your issue with a scene of approximately 800mb. No error reported.
Could you kindly give further information or share a scene in which the issue occurs?

Paride
