Because the one-pixel-gap between objects and shadows is quite visible even at huge resolution renders when i use render layer feature, unfortunately.
And object ID masks are not precise too... (correct me if I'm wrong)

It's not related with plugins. Completely a renderer issue. I'm not sure it can be improved.

hello aoktar.
sometimes when i solo things, the 'LiveViewer' continues to show the soloed objects. but sometimes solo objects vanish from 'LiveViewer'... any idea what i have to look out for?

try to click to anywhere again. Propably update message is ignored due update in progress or so. Nothing to do for current version.

ok i will try. i always hit resend scene and nothing happend maybe clicking somewhere will do the job. thanks for the quick answer.

an other thing im wondering.
can an emissive diffuse material emmit to both sides of the surface?

No, it's a natural behaviour of Octane.

ok.
im now checking the great 'octane texture manager'. see the attached image.
there seem to be some missing textures in my materials, but i double checked all slots and nothing is missing. the emodel is rendering fine. in fact, the images that are referred to dont even make sense.
any hints?
also rightclicking and hitting remove, doesnt remove these slots.
