At what moment does crash happen? when you open octane viewport, when you close it, when you change materials or geometry with opened octane viewport?
OK I believe it did crash two times when apply a uvw map and adjusting the scale size to some objects, max just crash without any warning to autosave!

Also, FrostMX objects(just very simple PFlow particles and then create a frost obj to meshing) are keeping crashing in 2.02 but can be render in v1.2

Karba hi,
When rendering Ornatrix hair.
If I put a modfier named "Ox Hair Clustering" under ox render settings modifier.
Octane viewport stucks at 1st sample and repeats itself the first render sample iteration.

Of course my max samples are set at default 16000.
but if you disable that "Ox Hair Clustering" modifier. it runs smooth in OCtviewport.
I guess it's just a problem for octane viewport.
Max Render seems perform normally.

I attached the file.
This is Ornatrix 3. latest beta build.
Could you please check if you have the same issue?

I made a new material with a displacement map and it turned out inverted in the render.
We didn't change the behavior. Are you sure you the faces are not flipped?

I just tried to put exr file in "displacement map - rgb image" and it didn't work.
May be I do anything wrong?
That should work. I will check.

This may be the error. Thanks I will look into it and take care. Should work with backfaces off.
